“This is so friggin’ cute!” may not be the most common reaction to computer hardware, but it’s probably one that we could do with hearing more often. We have more than enough slick blacks and cool metallic finishes; what we need is more colour and fun. Thankfully, Logitech knows what’s up—as a Valentine’s Day tie-in, they’ve just released a hot pink version of the PRO X Superlight mouse, and it’s so friggin’ cute.
The Pink PRO X Superlight packs all the same features as the other colourways: a 25,600 DPI sensor “that can accurately track movement at the sub-micron level”, 70 hours battery life, zero-additive PFTE feet, and a five-button setup. At 63 grams, it’s Logitech’s lightest PRO mouse yet—the product of “meticulous engineering to produce extreme weight reduction with zero compromises to performance.”

That all sounds well and good if need maximum competitive performance, especially in something like an FPS where precision and quick movement are key. But let’s be honest: it’s the pink finish that’s really going to give you the one-up on your enemies and their old, colourless peripherals.
The Pink PRO X Superlight mouse is up for pre-order now from Logitech G, at a price of NZD $299 / AUD $279.95.
