    Gallery: Toon Link Nendoroid

    Gallery: Toon Link Nendoroid

Back in August last year, Good Smile Company released the Toon Link Nendoroid (or, more specifically, Link: The Wind Waker ver.). As typical of the Nendoroid line, these were made-to-order, with pre-sales being taken months in advance, and sadly, I missed out.

But then, Good Smile Company did something unusual, and decided to re-release it. Not one to miss out twice, I ordered one as soon as I was able. Then, thanks to the months-long delay between ordering and shipping, I forgot about it until I got an email in June saying it had shipped. Yay!

Toon Link is about 10cm tall (the standard height of a Nendoroid), and comes with a variety of facial expressions and accessories that can be swapped in and out – sword (complete with slashing effect!), shield, Wind Waker wand, and a heart container.

Nendoroids are a bit on the pricey side, usually running around $70 NZD after shipping, but they’re worth it. The craftsmanship is impeccable, and they’re some of the cutest figures I’ve ever seen. I just wish I could afford them all!
