Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise gets a free demo

Matt RyanBy Matt RyanNovember 19, 2020

A free demo for Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise has just launched on the Nintendo Switch eShop, if you want to give Nintendo’s rhythm exercise game a spin before its launch next month.

The demo includes Daily Exercise and Free Training modes, with three original songs: Birdsong, Aim High, and South Nocturne. You can only play a limited number of times—three Daily Exercise sessions and 10 Free Training sessions—but that should be enough to give you a good idea of the game. There are nine instructors available, six returnees from the first Fitness Boxing and three newcomers, and the demo also lets you try two-player mode with each player holding one Joy Con.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise is a rhythm-based fitness game that sees you boxing in time to your chosen music, using your Joy Con to track your movements.. It offers a customisable Daily Workout programme that tracks your progress, as well as a free training mode and basic training that covers different punches, combinations, and techniques.

The demo also offers a glimpse of the song list for the full version of Fitness Boxing 2, with the likes of Katy Perry, Cyndi Lauper, Village People, Macklemore, Ariana Grande, Steppenwolf, and Swedish House Mafia. Presumably, these will be instrumental versions of the original songs, as was the case with the licensed music in the first Fitness Boxing.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise launches 4 December 2020 for Nintendo Switch. It’s available to pre-order through the Switch eShop now, at a cost of AUD $69.95 / NZD $79.95.
