Alpha demo coming soon for Reality Falls, a new game from the co-creator of Richard & Alice

Matt RyanBy Matt RyanNovember 8, 2018

Lewis Denby, one half of the two-person team behind the poignant adventure game Richard & Alice, has a new game on the way called Reality Falls, and those interested will soon be able to check out an alpha demo.

Due out in 2019, Reality Falls follows the journey of Adrian Watts through the titular Reality Falls, a strange town on the former Soviet steppe. Per the game’s steam listing, “Reality Falls sounds like the adventurer’s dream: a destination off the beaten track, home to a collection of oddballs and misfits, all yearning for something different. But something strange lurks within the curiously named Reality Falls.”

The alpha demo will consist of a 30-ish minute slice of the game and will be sent out later this month to everyone who’s signed up for email updates by the end of next week. If you want a sneak preview of what to expect, Lewis shared a new trailer introducing Adrian and offering a glimpse into how he winds up in Reality Falls.

Reality Falls looks intriguing, to say the least, and I can’t wait to see how both the alpha demo and the full game turn out. I’ll bring you my thoughts on the demo as soon as I can, and if you want to play it yourself, be sure to sign up before the end of next week!
